Stanford University is home of the Dynamic Design Lab where several projects have taken place to help advance autonomous vehicle technologies! Here there are several really cool vehicle test beds such as the one pictured above nicknamed "Shelley." This car is an Audi TTS that has been modified to be autonomous. It has shown in videos self-driving through Pikes Peak as well as racing autonomously at Thunderhill Raceway.
