Purdue Electric Racing | Sponsor Video

I am a member of the Purdue Electric Racing Senior Design Team. The focus of my work has been for the power train team working on optimization of the motor and motor controller.In our current setup we use an Emrax 228 Motor and a Bamocar-D3 Motor Controller. We currently run this setup with a chain drive transmission and differential for rear wheel drive. We are investigating in wheel hub-motors for all wheel drive in the future. Below is a video made for our sponsors from our most recent test day at Ross-Ade Stadium parking lot in early December 2017.
